Brief

To provide a basic business card website giving details of location, services, costs and a booking form for a local barbers.

Site Features

• Booking form which sends request to shop owners mobile phone
• Recaptcha spam protection to prevent annoying spam messages
• Basic tabbed navigation leading to information pages
• Intuitive navigation
• Google Analytics built in
• Google site verification
• Strong colour schemes to aid continuity between sections of site
• Set up of custom email addresses for staff members.

Working with Phil from Sweeney Todds Barbers in Worthing in West Sussex has been good fun. Phil wanted a simple website that he could use in marketing to provide information about his shop and to help potential customers find him at his new store in Tescos Extra at Durrington in Worthing.

The website had to primarily be functional but also appealing to look at while being affordable to produce.

I think together we have achieved a great little site which fits the brief but was very economic to produce.

To improve the lives of those with access to poor or insufficient sanitation by stimulating commercial interest in providing sanitation products. Create a fresh, engaging and commercial web site for the Sanitation Ventures project.

Working on Sanitation Ventures has been a fantastic experience. The site launched 19th July 2011 and I expect it to be very successful. The site was commissioned by a group at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Sanitation Ventures is a very organic web site and I expect it to grow steadily as more media is added and more research is published.

Steve Allender is an artist from Henley-on-Thames and his pictures feature in many private collections worldwide.

Brief

Steve wanted a simple, clean, low cost web site which he could use as a gallery and an online 'business card'. It was also important to Steve that he could update the pictures on the site himself without having to employ a third party.

Office Changes provide office refurbishment and office move services. Their existing web site was a bit outdated and hadn't changed as the company has grown and developed.

Brief

• Help develop strategy, the business' aims and goals, failings of previous web site etc
• Write a design brief for agreement with the client
• Produced a handful of prototypes and mockups
• Produced working prototype to allow the client to get a feel for the site online
• Assist client in producing site content.
• Assist client in producing new corporate style and apply to other company documents providing a cohesive group of documents and templates.

• Information portal making documents and templates available for easy download
• Easy to navigate tabbed browsing experience
• Built in image, video and audio management interface to allow for easy future media integration and management by client
• Contact forms
• Social Media links
• Google Analytics built into the site to provide usage statistics
• Google Custom Search Engine built into the site.

The new site is a fantastic source of information, guides and templates for those who manage and get involved in office refurbishment.

The design of the site is primarily one of information portal with the intent of encouraging potential clients to get in touch with the company directly.
